NEW - February 7, 2009 - The Silver Dart Replica Flies Into the History Books.  The story of the first flights of the Silver Dart replica that has been constructed to re-enact the historic first flight of an airplane in Canada on Feb. 23, 2009 at Baddeck NS, 100 years after the original flight on Feb. 23, 1909.

REVISED - June 11, 2008 - Ver 2.1 of the "Timeline of Kite History" contains a chronological listing of significant events in kite history in both table and graphical format. The historical time line is divided into three sections:  Prehistory (1500 AD) to 1800;  1800 to 1900;  and  1900 to the Present.
